GABENOR BANK NEGARA 2016 : BERI MASA 1MDB UNTUK STRUKTUR BALIK SYARIKAT

Menurut Gabenor Datuk Muhammad Ibrahim, Bank Negara bagaimanapun tidak menetapkan tempoh masa memandangkan penstrukturan memakan masa panjang.

Beliau pada masa sama berkata 1MDB juga sudah menyatakan komitmen bayaran kompaun

sebelum tarikh akhir 30 Mei ini.

“Penstrukturan memakan masa, mereka perlu merundingan penyelesaian. Berikan mereka masa yang cukup untuk selesaikan tanggungan.

“Apabila penstrukturan hutang dilakukan, ia memakan masa kerana melibatkan banyak pihak. Rundingan dan penyelesaiana bakal memakan masa bergantung kepada kerumitan,” kata beliau dalam pembentangan prestasi ekonomi suku pertama 2016 di Kuala Lumpur.

Bagaimanapun beliau enggan mendedahkan jumlah kompaun yang dikenakan terhadap 1MDB.

BNM pada 28 April mengeluarkan surat kompaun pentadbiran kepada 1MDB kerana gagal mematuhi sepenuhnya arahan yang dikeluarkan mengikut Akta Perkhidmatan Kewangan 2013.

Ini termasuk mengkehendaki 1MDB menghantar balik wang yang dikirim ke luar negara berikutan pembatalan tiga kelulusan yang diberikah oleh BNM kepada 1MDB masing-masing pada 2009, 2010 dan 2011.
1MDB juga gagal mengemukakan bukti dan dokumen yang ditetapkan oleh BNM untuknya memberikan alasan yang kukuh berhubung ketidaupayaan untuk mematuhi sepenuhnya arahan penghantaran balik itu.

Muhammad menambah, sentimen pasaran dijangka pulih dengan selesainya isu syarikat pelaburan strategik 1 Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Gabenor Bank Negara Datuk Muhammad Ibrahim menyuarakan keyakinan kerajaan akan menyelesaikan semua hutang dan komitmennya.

“Saya yakin kerajaan akan penuhi semua tanggungjawab hutangnya. Juga dengan selesainya isu 1MDB, ia akan memulihkan sentimen pasaran,” kata beliau pada Forum Kewangan Islam Global 5.0 (GIFF 5.0) di ibu negara pada Rabu.

Beliau membuat kenyataan berkenaan ketika ditanya berkenaan status pembayaran faedah AS$52.4 juta ke atas bon 1MDB bernilai AS$1.75 billion yang matang pada Mei 2022.

Pada bulan April, 1MDB telah mungkir pembayaran faedah ke atas bon matang Oktober 2022 bernilai AS$50.3 juta.

Kemungkiran tersebut turut melibatkan pertikaian dengan International Petroleum Investment Company, IPIC.

Sementara itu, agensi penarafan antarabangsa Fitch Ratings dalam kenyataan pada Selasa yakin kesan kemungkiran faedah 1MDB pada April masih terkawal dan tidak menjejaskan penarafan Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR: Rizab antarabangsa Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) berjumlah RM381.4 bilion setakat 29 April 2016.

Jumlah itu bersamaan US$97 bilion dolar.

Bank Negara Malaysia dalam satu kenyataan berkata paras rizab ini memadai untuk membiayai 7.9 bulan import tertangguh dan satu kali hutang luar negeri jangka pendek.

Dalam kenyataan oleh bank pusat itu, ia berkata komponen utama rizab antarabangsa terdiri daripada rizab mata wang asing berjumlah US$89.1 bilion, kedudukan Dana Kewangan Antarabangsa (IMF) pada US$8 bilion, Hak Pengeluaran Khas (SDR) berjumlah US$1.2 bilion, emas (US $ 1.4 bilion) dan aset rizab lain berjumlah US$4.5 bilion.

Bank pusat berkata aset keseluruhannya berjumlah RM403.198 bilion.

Ia termasuk kertas kerajaan Malaysia pada RM2.049 bilion, deposit dengan institusi kewangan, RM1.783 bilion, pinjaman dan pendahuluan pada RM7.252 bilion, tanah dan bangunan, RM2.113 biliondan aset-aset lain berjumlah RM8 0,648 bilion.
Manakala liabilitinya terdiri daripada modal berbayar, RM100 juta, rizab, RM102.424 bilion, mata wang dalam edaran RM89.393 bilion, deposit oleh institusi kewangan, RM161.216 bilion, deposit kerajaan persekutuan, RM8.617 bilion, deposit lain, RM625.224 juta, kertas Bank Negara, RM19.343 bilion, peruntukan SDR, RM7.370 bilion dan liabiliti lain pada RM14.107 bilion.

BAE Personal Financing-I

BAE Personal Financing-I (Personal Loan) is based on the concept of Bai Al-Inah which means a financing facility with the underlying buy and sell transactions between the financier and the customer. The concept is based on Shariah where the financier buys an asset from the customer on spot basis. The price paid by the financier constitutes the disbursement under the facility. Subsequently the asset is sold to the customer on a deferred-payment basis and the price is payable in installments.

The minimum loan payback is 2 years and the maximum will be 10 years. Based on the eligibility, customers who apply for the loan will be able to get loans from RM 5, 000 to RM 150, 000.To ease customers payment method, Public Bank will deduct the loan monthly payment directly from the customers salary.

Customers enjoy great benefits as Public Bank offers quick cash in hand up to RM 150,000 and a hassle-free payment from 2 to 10 Years, as it is automatically deducted from customers’ salary with special arrangement adjusted with the employer. Another important factor, there’s no guarantor required for loan application. Also if customers plan to terminate the loan by paying back the full amount, there is no early settlement fees for the personal loan. (please double check during the period of your loan application).

Here is a simple calculation when you borrow basing on the loan period, income and interest rate:

RM5000 – 150000 24 to 36 months min. RM24000 3.4%

RM5000 – 150000 48 to 120 months min. RM24000 4.99%

(Interest Rate / APRfrom 3.4% to 4.88%, depending loan amount and period)

Once the loan is approved, normally after a few working days, the borrowed funds will be transferred to the Public Bank account of your choice.

Charges

Once the loan is approved there is some additional charges customers must keep in mind such as processing fee RM100, stamp duty 0.5% of borrowed amount and late Penalty fee 1% of amount in arrears mode of payment. Further administration charges can be different according to the amount that you are borrowing and the type of Security Documents you need to provide. The loan includes Takaful Insurance policy which is linked to the loan when customers apply.

Requirements

In order to fulfill to customers convenience of personal financing with BAE Personal Financing-I(Personal Loan), Public Bank has a very transparent method in loan application. Customers who apply for the loan must be Malaysian citizen aged 20 years above and below 60 years with a permanent job of at least 1 year in service in any one of our approved branches or agencies.

Documentations

To apply for the loan, customers need to :

  1. make a copy of NRIC (front and back),
  2. latest 3 month’s salary slips or EPF statements,
  3. letter from employer confirming position and salary.
